The Castle Inn offers the perfect combination of rustic charm and modern elegance, we pride ourselves on offering a truly heart-warming Yorkshire welcome to each and every one of our couples.
Our traditional yet contemporary setting offers a unique aesthetic with cosy nooks, converted barn rooms and a spacious outdoor garden and terrace. The original pub opens out into our main event space ideal for larger celebrations of up to 100 daytime guests; complete with a retractable glass roof bringing a real alfresco feel to your special day, all with the added guarantee of flawless lighting for those perfect photographs all year round! With both full and half venue packages available; this space also lends itself to host ceremonies and receptions on a smaller scale, providing a much more intimate experience for couples with that preference. Also, just a stones throw away is the incredible Spofforth Castle; an 11th century monument providing a truly magical backdrop for newlywed photos.
We are fully licensed to hold ceremonies on-site and our team at Malvern Events are on hand to help create the setting of your dreams. Alternatively, if you are looking for a more traditional wedding, we are lucky enough to have the beautiful All Saints Church round the corner. We are also proud to have twelve luxury boutique bedrooms on site, all of which are en-suite and finished to an exceptionally high standard featuring roll top baths, walk-in showers and four poster beds.

We stayed at the venue the night before the wedding with close family and friends, and enjoyed a meal in the pub. It was very relaxed and a great start to the wedding.
On the day we got ready in the rooms at the pub, all of which are beautifully individually decorated to a high standard.
The wedding set up was managed by Georgia and the team at The Castle Inn, and their attention to detail was exceptional, I did not have to worry about anything as they had sorted everything. The day ran extremely smoothly, as Georgia and team made sure everything ran to plan, and this allowed us to relax and celebrate with our guests.

We were looked after extremely well by the staff, especially Fran who made sure that everything was perfect for our Wedding Day.
We both wanted our wedding to be something different from what is normally expected. After much thought we decided on a Victorian/Steampunk theme. Our proposal what put to the team at the castle who were delighted with he idea and could not wait to get onboard. The whole day was planned perfectly and all our extraordinary requirements catered for. The day was amazing and all of the guests loved the flawless execution of the plan. This is all due to our ideas being listened to and the positive approach adopted by Georgia and her team. I highly recommend using this venue for any event you have planned as I'm confident you will not be disappointed.
