With a private sandy beach below the gardens, sheltering cliffs, and a dramatic stretch of coastline, it is often described as a secret hidden gem, peaceful, atmospheric, and unforgettable.

We have 10 individually decorated bedrooms, including a family suite, along with beautiful lounges that retain the charm and character of the original Victorian shooting lodge. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and welcoming, the kind of place where guests immediately feel at home.

Our passionate kitchen team creates exceptional dishes using the finest local Scottish produce, and we are proud to hold 3 AA Rosettes, recognising outstanding culinary excellence.
Many couples choose to build their wedding around the dining experience, from a Chef’s tasting menu wedding breakfast to relaxed lunches, champagne on the lawn, and unforgettable evenings shared with family and friends.
We offer the exclusive use of the house and gardens, allowing you complete privacy for your celebration.
Your guests can stroll through the gardens, sip champagne on the lawn, and take in the sweeping views over the Irish Sea. Ceremonies can be held in our beautiful Drawing Room or outside in the garden overlooking the beach, creating an extraordinary setting for your vows.
Knockinaam can host a range of wedding styles, including:
Exclusive intimate weddings for up to 30 guests in the restaurant
Micro weddings and elopements for 8–12 guests, combining ceremony, dining, and overnight stays
Larger marquee or tipi celebrations for up to 200 guests within our grounds.
