Our wedding coordinator Lucy Bennet has been fantastic in helping organise the wedding reception and meal. Especially since we don't live locally!

After our dream wedding was ruined we couldn’t imagine that anyone would be able to help us… but The Majestic did!

Our wedding was cancelled due to our venue going into administration due to covid and we lost everything we had paid as we were weeks away from getting married.

As Ben and I worked through the pandemic as a nurse and paramedic it just seemed there was no let up and the stress and strain of re arranging a wedding on top of working was relentless.

The majestic took on the financial burden which we suffered. From start to finish they accommodated everything and I mean everything!
Nothing was too much to ask: we met with the wedding coordinator who took everything we had planned at the previous venue and just transferred it over without question.

We probably wouldn’t even be married now if it wasn’t for them!

What really stood out to us about booking the Majestic Hotel was that on our first viewing, we were guided through the venue step by step in the order that all the events of our wedding day would take place, from getting ready, to ceremony, to reception, to the dinner dance. The Majestic had really thought about every detail and it made us feel that they really understood us and our needs. The spaces were absolutely beautiful, and perfectly apt for the theme we wanted for our wedding. The team were incredibly supportive and helpful to all of our vendors, and guests travelling from all over the world were delighted with the venue. I only wish we could do it all again!

We were initially drawn by the grandeur of the Majestic Hotel when looking for venues in Harrogate. We were looking for a venue that was simplistic and sophisticated, so the elegance of the reading room with its chandeliers and ornate mirrors made it a perfect choice for our wedding. When planning our day the Majestic Hotel was very accommodating to our requests, particularly in designing a traditional afternoon tea wedding breakfast (which included vegetarian and vegan alternatives) and the fact we had to postpone our wedding twice. Furthermore, our wedding cake supplier cancelled on us last minute and the Majestic managed to find us an alternative which ended up being even more spectacular. Overall, I wish we could go back and do it all again!

Choosing DoubleTree By Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel & Spa was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The staff was incredibly professional and attentive, making the planning process a breeze. The venue itself was absolutely magical, with its beautiful, modern interior designs and charming architecture. On our big day, everything was executed flawlessly, from the stunning bridal suite, the warm and welcoming service to the delicious food. The Event team truly went above and beyond to create an unique experience for us and our guests. We had a very unforgettable day.

From the moment we sat down with the wedding co-ordinator on our first look around the majestic before booking our wedding- we knew this was the venue for us. Nothing was too much hassle and everyone was so helpful. We had a fabulous wedding day, the co-ordinator ensured it all ran smoothly. To be honest, my husband and I did not have to think about anything other than the vows and enjoying the party! Our wedding is still being talked about by family and friends!

My husband and I had our wedding at The Majestic Hotel in April and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. We hadn’t had the easiest wedding planning journey and faced some extreme hurdles along the way from outside suppliers leaving us worried for how our day would turn out but since meeting our wedding co-ordinator, Lucy Bennett, we immediately felt well looked after and supported.

Lucy, Sarah Dawson and team helped make our day run smoothly whilst also ensuring that my husband and I were never left behind with any food or drink. They even helped us to hide our Newfoundland dog in the lead up to and on the big day so he could come down as the surprise ring bearer.

The rooms were set up exactly as we had wanted, if not better and the food was beautiful. We had such an amazing day and we cannot recommend Lucy and her team enough.

I don't know where to start to express my heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff. Our small wedding transformed into an extraordinary event that exceeded all our expectations. From the beautifully appointed rooms to the exquisite event space, every aspect of our special day was meticulously planned and flawlessly executed.

First and foremost, I would like to extend my deepest appreciation to Lucy Bennet and Emine Altuntas. Their unwavering support and exceptional assistance throughout the planning process were invaluable. Their attention to detail and dedication ensured that every aspect of our wedding was perfect, leaving us with a sense of comfort and reassurance. I genuinely don't know what I would have done without them.

The food served at our wedding was absolutely amazing. Our guests were enthralled by the culinary delights, and we received numerous compliments on the menu. The hotel's culinary team truly outdid themselves, making our wedding feast an unforgettable gastronomic experience.

The DJ provided fantastic entertainment throughout the evening. Their music selection and ability to create a lively atmosphere kept the dance floor buzzing. The wait staff provided exceptional service, ensuring that every guest felt well taken care of.

One of the most remarkable aspects of our wedding at was the fact that it was dog-friendly. Being able to include our ALL family (with dogs) in the celebration meant the world to us. Having our dogs by our side made the day even more special and memorable. We sincerely appreciate the hotel's dog-friendly policy.

Looking back, choosing here for our wedding was the best decision we made. The impeccable service, stunning venue, delectable cuisine, and the ability to include our dogs made our wedding an unforgettable experience. We felt like royalty, and our guests were equally impressed and delighted.

To the entire staff at Harrogate Hilton, our heartfelt thanks for making our wedding an exceptional and cherished memory. Reflecting on our wedding day, I can confidently say that if I were to do it all over again, I would choose here without hesitation.

The building’s original features created a beautiful backdrop to our day and the photographs. This coupled with great food and service meant that we enjoyed a relaxed and thoroughly memorable time.
