Im a professional wedding photographer with over 10 years experience in weddings and many more in other areas of photography. I have a great deal of experience and shot and many leading wedding venues
I photograph weddings nationally with the majority of my work in London, Somerset and Essex. I also travel overseas when shooting destination weddings.
I’m based in central London however I’ve been fortunate enough to shoot nationally all over the UK as well as destination weddings.
I would be happy to meet with you and discuss your wedding plans and see how I can work with you to document your wedding day in my own unique way.
Over the years my work has taken me to many amazing venues with much time spent in the southwest along with the Essex regions.
Travelling has always been an exciting part of wedding photography for me. Each new venue I visit allows me to put my own creative vision into the day’s photography, which is exciting for my clients and of course myself.
Every wedding is so different and so special in its own way, it’s how you capture each moment and tell the story in a timeless fashion is what makes it so enjoyable and important to me.
I do not want to just turn up on the day and be the wedding photography you booked 18 months ago. I want you to feel relaxed and not nervous about the guy with the camera, the day is going to be fun and beautiful however it runs and part of my role is to help make sure your wedding day is documented in the most natural, fun and creative way.
One of my unique selling point is my ability to create dramatic off camera flash images in a timely fashion so you can get on with enjoying your wedding day.

Make sure the you build and amazing relationship with your photographer. This will make you way more relaxed and natural around the camera, which will lead to amazing photos of you on you wedding day.
Have fun as that what its about, your day goes so fast, relax, enjoy and soak it all up. The day is about you after all. The more fun you have the better your photos will be.
If you have the budget, hair, make up and getting ready in the bridal suite really does make a difference with your bridal prep photography plus you get pampered on your special day so why not.

After seeing other photographer’s work around the wedding fair we decided to go with Matt, a decision we are glad we made.

Then we met Matt – His photos REALLY stood out & was exactly what we were looking for! We explained that deciding on which photographer to book was an extremely difficult choice as there were many on offer but also we wanted to capture ‘the moments’. Matt then explained that his work thrives on exactly that & his portfolio speaks volumes!
We booked Matt after meeting him for a 2nd time at another wedding fayre & we then both decided that he was the perfect choice. From initial booking up to the big day, Matt was with us all the way keeping in regular email contact & even meeting twice to help us plan the order of the day.
On the day itself, Matt was assisted by Leo who Matt works with quite often so as shots can be captured from different angles. I was a VERY nervous Groom on the day but both Matt & Leo immediately made me feel at ease & they wasn’t in any way intrusive.

Growing up in the East End of London, I was thrown into a melting pot of cultures and imagery, which inspired my practice as a photographer. Married with two boys, family is at the heart of my life, my wife and children have been the subjects of many Photographs. Family gives me that crucial insight into making my clients comfortable, relaxed and ready to enjoy a shoot, in studio or on location. Creating professional/personal relationships with my clients is important, and these engaging elements add to the finished image.Living between London and the west country my clients range from the corporate and fashion industry to the personal and family incorporating the broadness, which is photography. WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY IS MY PASSION Creating humor and a relaxed environment is what I do, its how I work and always will be. Photography is so personal, which is why relationships are at the forefront of my work. Wedding photography is about capturing real moments within the moments. My images are real and true to how the special day really was and not forgetting to have fun. Im always at the end of the phone should you wish to arrange a time to call as sometimes talking can really help you get a better feel and understanding of the information you have read on the site. Please remember a couple of things, make sure you get on with your photographer as relationships and being comfortable around the camera are so important, your photos will be so much more amazing if you get this bit right.
