Sheila & Dave's Wedding Story
It’s always exciting when a wedding photographer has a first when it comes to themed weddings. Sheila and Dave are big James Bond movie fans. It was this fictional character who would be the star of their themed wedding. As we know, many Bond movies place Agent 007 in a casino or at a card table. Dave and Sheila staged their very own Casino Royale themed wedding for their family and friends!
Family and friends were amazed by the baffling card tricks of a superb magician throughout the themed wedding dinner reception. When the Wedding Breakfast speeches and champagne toasts were over, guests were thrilled to walk into their very own real-life casino. Complete with roulette and card tables, life-size cut-outs and images of the man himself, we were all able to share Sheila and Dave’s love of those memorable Bond movies.
The couple had chosen a fabulous wedding venue. Ardencote is a Victorian Manor House nestled in beautiful Warwickshire countryside. It is located near the village of Claverdon between Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick, which is famous for its magnificent castle and historic town. Set in 83 acres of manicured grounds, with golf course and 3 acre lake, Ardencote now has a contemporary feel. It has a brand new spa and wedding facilities to hold both intimate and large events.
Sheila and Dave’s marriage ceremony was blessed by fine weather. Wedding guest’s crossed a footbridge festooned with ribbons and along a tree-lined walk to the wedding arch. A melodic soloist and guitarist played before and after the ceremony. They were a real treat!
