Michelle & Mike's Wedding Story
A Cotswold wedding is always a magical event to photograph, and even more so at Christmas. Michelle and Mike chose The Kingscote Barn for their marriage ceremony and celebrations. This is a delightful wedding venue nestled in the heart of its very own secret valley, close to the village of Tetbury in Gloucestershire.
A sweeping private driveway leads to this enchanting 17th century stone barn with panoramic views over rolling countryside. Barn ceremonies are a wedding photographers dream! Today, the exposed stonework and magnificent beams had been festooned with twinkling fairy lights. Kingscote Barn has a minstrel’s gallery high above where the happy couple would exchange rings. This allowed me to capture some great moments during the ceremony and someone had even hung a massive bunch of mistletoe above the spot where Michelle and Mike would say “I do”.
