Rain & Toby's Wedding Story
Rain and Toby have brought incredible enthusiasm and creativity to every stage of their wedding planning.
The couple have been together for some time and are obviously very in-tune with each other so planning seemed very enjoyable for both of them.
Having originally wanted to host a mid-summer wedding, Rain and Toby wanted to bring sunshine and colour to the day. With summer dates already fully booked, the pair began to plan a May wedding. They were blessed with incredible summer sunshine and filled the barn with colour for a real fiesta feel.
The ceremony was conducted by Rain’s sister who did an incredible job of telling the story of these love birds with special insight. Rings were exchanged and the couple shared vows that they had written to each other before dancing back down the aisle to begin the celebrations.
Toby was dashing in a green suit and Rain looked exquisite in a fitted dress with huge bow train, a long veil and satin evening gloves - any photographer’s dream!
Guests flooded onto the lawn to enjoy drinks alongside miniature lamb enchiladas and cod tacos. To add to the Mexican feel, a three piece Mariachi band appeared around the corner to surprise the guests! After serenading the newly-weds, the trio roamed the lawn treating guests to their mariachi versions of various chart toppers and classic favourites.
Guests were torn away from competitive garden games (very apt, with competitive games being a shared love of the bride and grooms’!) to take their seats in the Woodshed for the wedding breakfast.
A Mexican feel continued through the feast of colourful dishes served to tables on huge wooden platters from Country Box Catering. After dining, guests enjoyed the sunshine before the band began to play and the dance floor filled.
There were cocktails, cupcakes and pizza a plenty late into the night as Rain and Toby’s nearest and dearest partied hard to celebrate this fabulous couple. Congratulations guys, it was truly a day to remember!
