Frankie & Ed's Wedding Story
Our last wedding of the 2023 season was a goodie, and one that was full of love, laughter and sparkle.
Norfolk holds a special place in Frankie and Ed’s hearts; Frankie grew up here, they met here and they got engaged here so it was only right that they returned to where it all began to become husband and wife.
Frankie and Ed have demanding careers and were aware of a quick turnaround from Christmas festivities to wedding and NY celebrations so they listened to our advice and secured some of the top wedding suppliers in the area to make their planning as stress-free as possible.
You’ll always get the most from your suppliers if you give them creative control. Of course they want to ensure their ideas and suggestions marry with your vision, but let them surprise you and interpret the spaces in ways that you have never seen before. You are paying for their creative talent so give them the freedom to make your wedding unique and memorable whilst having you both at the forefront of their minds. This is exactly what Frankie and Ed did which meant they had the day before the wedding to enjoy the excitement and build up with their friends and family whilst running last minute errands and attending their church rehearsal in Castle Rising, knowing that CHB was in safe hands.
The festoon lighting both inside and outside the barn created the most beautiful glow which provided the perfect backdrop for Frankie and Ed’s reception.
Before long, and breaking with tradition, it was time for Frankie to take her position on the mezzanine stairs to welcome their guests and thank her parents, her new extended family and most importantly her husband.
It may have been blowing a gale outside but it didn’t stop us achieving a sparkler tunnel for Frankie and Ed to officially kick off the evening celebrations!
