Rachel & Ross's Wedding Story
We met at work, we got chatting one day and realised how much we laughed, we became friends and the rest as they say is history! Ross came around to my house one weekend and never really left haha.
After only a year and a half Ross proposed at a Nottingham Panthers ice hockey match in front of 4,500 people! The moment was incredible and our story was in the paper too.
Our vision for the day was colour!!! We knew we wanted bright and colourful and individual, our colours were…purple, blue, green, pink and orange. The groomsmen had different colours, 10 including Ross. He and best man had purple theme, then the 8 groomsmen; 2 had orange, 2 had blue, 2 had green and 2 had pink, the colours being in their braces, laces and bow ties. We were so happy with how they looked! They came together so well.
My bridesmaids wore tulle skirts, pink, orange, green and blue, and silver sequin tops with denim jackets for after, they looked so beautiful! It all came together exactly how we wanted, our colourful day.
It was the first and ONLY venue we visited, we looked around, it was perfect, we both cried and we knew it was the venue we needed. So different to other places we could have looked at, it suited us and the feel that we wanted.
We couldn’t possibly choose a favourite part of the wedding, the entire day was incredible! It was fun scrambling over rocks and logs to get those perfect photos though, having family around us was just amazing, family who hadn’t ever met finally met on the day, what a feeling!
