Gavin & Lucy's Wedding Story
On Saturday 13th July we had the pleasure of hosting the new Mr & Mrs Rees special day at Brean Country Club.
As guests arrived, they were greeted by Gavin and the best man their son Leo and welcomed on to our Kestral Suite Terrace to enjoy drink’s in the sunshine before the ceremony. Just before three o’clock guests were seated in our Kingfisher Suite enjoying the views towards the Mendip Hills and Brent Knoll ready for Lucy’s grand entrance. As the doors opened Lucy’s Bridesmaid, her daughter Miley, made her way down the aisle, she was wearing a beautiful ivory dress, shortly followed by the page boys Austin and Hugo their nephews who also looked rather dapper. As Gavin stood at the top of the aisle Lucy made her way towards him, she looked beautiful.
After the ceremony guest enjoyed a reception drink in the sunshine on our private terrace overlooking the golf course and lovely views of Brent Knoll. They made full use of our beautiful ground and golf course for pictures.
The Kestrel Suite hosted their wedding breakfast and looked fantastic. The suite was dressed with white chair covers and blue bows, using our table centre pieces which are beautiful stylish glass bowl decorated with cream flowers. A three-course meal was served to all guests followed by a toast from Lucy’s Dad, wishing all the happy couple all the happiness for the future.
As the evening party started more guests arrived to join in the celebrations, they boogied the night away with our in house DJ and enjoyed a selection of items from our evening buffet menu.
A wonderful wedding for the happy couple and our first wedding at Brean Country Club.
