Gareth & Kate's Wedding Story
On Monday 30th September we celebrated the wedding of Kate and Gareth here at Brean Country Club.
The setting of Brean was very special to the couple who had first met whilst attending the Country and Western Festival that runs in Brean every year, so when they heard that they could now get married in Brean the date was set.
Kate got ready prior to the ceremony in our beautiful wedding lodge and looked stunning in a beautiful lace belted dress whilst Gareth along with their family and friends took their seats in our Kingfisher Suite. White chair covers with hessian sash complimented the room along with the floral arch and hessian aisle runner that Kate provided herself. Kate was accompanied down the aisle by her Father Wesley following their flower girl Cordelia and Maid of Honour Kitty who was Kates grandmother. A blessing followed the ceremony before guests made their way down to the lounge area and outside for a glass of bubbly and photos.
Our Bride & Groom then left their guests to enjoy their drinks while they went out on our golf buggy for some lovely photos on the golf course, just making it back to the Country Club before rain decided to set in.
At a quarter to four Kate & Gareth were announced into their wedding breakfast which was served in the Kestrel Suite where guests enjoyed Leek & Potato Soup, Roasted Herb Chicken Breast with vegetables and fondant potato followed by a delicious Eton Mess. The children were occupied with our complimentary activity packs and sweet cart provided by the bride & groom.
After Kate had danced with her father and with Gareth guests left us to join the Bride & Groom for a visit to some of the entertainment venues celebrating Country and & Western across Brean. Not before grabbing their cowboy hat on the way out!
