Shane & Amber's Wedding Story
It was a very wet but warm July day here when Shane arrived to greet guests with his young son Ario. Luckily for the guests our team were on hand with umbrellas when the heavens opened.
The ceremony room in our Kingfisher Suite was set with white chair covers, dusky pink sashes and aisle runner provided by Essential Events Hire with beautiful Ceremony flowers by Bouquet Florist of Cheddar. At 2pm Shane and his Best Man/ Son Jake awaited Amber’s arrival with the rest of their family and friends. Amber arrived looking stunning in a fitted, lace ivory wedding gown. Kien from KB wedding videography captured the whole day which although wet this did not spoil the Bride & Grooms wonderful day.
Our Kestrel suite was the location for their Wedding Breakfast which featured bespoke table centrepieces provided again by Bouquet Florist. Amber & Shane were seated at the top table with a beautiful starlit table skirt and backdrop accompanied by the couples children MacKenzie, Ario, Indy & Asia with large lit initials of the Bride & Groom to finish the décor. Guests enjoyed a three course meal consisting of Sweet potato & Rosemary soup, Feather blade beef served with fine beans and fondant potato followed by Eton mess. They were then entertained with speeches by Jake the Best man, Ambers dad Mike, Shane and Asia.The children were entertained with complimentary activity packs during the wedding breakfast and toys.
Unfortunately rain prevented the optional extra of beach photographs however Xanthe Rowland was on hand to take some beautiful photos within the Country Club and grounds.
A hot and cold finger buffet was served in the evening and guests danced the night away with our in house DJ.
