The Real Wedding of Claire & Alun

Claire & Alun's Wedding Story

Claire and Alun were married on the Wordsworth Lawn on a beautiful spring day, signing the register just inside in the Queen Anne Dining Room, which overlooks the lawn. Once signed, they emerged from the front door for a confetti shower by their guests, with a beautiful flower backdrop created by award winning floral designers, Issy & Bella.

The wedding party then made their way round to the Cricket Pitch Lawn for a drinks reception, complete with a beer bath and were entertained by a vocal acoustic guitarist as delicious canapes were served by AtoZest caterers.

It was the height of the blossom season at Brinsop so Claire and Alun took a stroll in the flower orchard, with a wonderful reward of stunning photos and drone footage for their video.

For their wedding breakfast, the stunning Banqueting Hall was dressed with crossback chairs surrounding tables dressed with gold cutlery and lanterns with pillar candles and a vase of blooms as the centrepiece.
Romantic candles adorned the walls and huge stone fireplace with fairy lights and huge foliage hoops suspended from the medieval oak beams to complete the look. As well as speeches, a fun Mr and Mrs Quiz was played by the happy couple.

After their wedding breakfast, more photos were taken on the ancient stone steps and the secret doorway in the courtyard, showing off the beautiful train of Claire's dress.

A final outdoor photoshoot before darkness fell was a fun affair with smoke flares on The Cricket Pitch!

Early evening drinks were served in the Courtyard before the cake was cut in the Queen Anne Dining Room.

The Banqueting Hall had been transformed for the evening party, complete with band and Claire and Alun got proceedings underway with their first dance. Following lots of twirls to show off Claire's stunning dress, the guests joined them on the dancefloor for some serious party moves.

To round off a beautiful day, the guests formed a sparkler guard of honour in the Courtyard.
