Alison & Peter's Wedding Story
Alison and Peter wanted a "Glam and Sophisticated" wedding in an industrial setting. It was important to Alison to have a celebration rather than a traditional wedding and therefore, they decided that the focus should be on dinner and dancing. The venue was a perfect choice for this. Not only did The Salt Room provide the most incredible menu and cocktails, but the space was a dream to design for the transition between a formal sit down meal to a sparkly party.
Floral instillations fitting with the industrial decor were provided by the insanely talented Chirpee Flowers. Copper piping was used to create the illusion of floating flowers and this was matched with the beautiful and luscious flowers adorning the marble and wooden tables.
I designed the tables with a nod to the venue's decor but also injecting a sophisticated and glamorous aesthetic: rich reds, coppers and blush pinks created warmth and vibrancy. Alison and Peter were delighted with the way their day felt and looked: "Thank you again for all your hard work. You really made our dream a reality - it was utterly magical and my jaw dropped when I saw it all. It just couldn't have been better; all our guests were amazed and all commented on how fabulous it all looked."
