Designer Wedding Dresses

As speculation surrounding Kate Middleton’s designer wedding dress continues to consume bridal designers nationwide, rumours are rife that she has finally made her decision...

Today, The Daily Mail reported that Kate’s mother and sister were spotted visiting Bruce Oldfield’s boutique, sparking assumptions that the future Queen Catherine will follow the late Princess Diana's favoured designer for her forthcoming wedding this April.

A senior royal aide revealed yesterday that; “She (Kate) has pretty much reached a final decision. But she wants to keep the creator and design to herself as a surprise for her groom on the wedding day, in line with tradition. She’s very excited.”

Last November, in an interview with designer Mary Katrantzou, fashion bible Vogue hinted that Kate might choose a column style designer wedding dress; “I wouldn't opt for traditional full-blown extravagant bridal gown. Instead, I would dress her in clean lines and an elegant column gown with a floor-skimming trail.”

In light of these reports, UKbride have selected their top pick of fabulous column-style frocks so that you too can have a wedding dress fit for a queen!
