Aurora Fireworks is a family-run business started by Robert Byles in 1996. Robert has over 25 years of experience working with fireworks, conducting firework displays for British Legion clubs and local schools in Essex and West Sussex. When new legislation was introduced to prevent mortar shell use by the general public, Robert decided to take the bold step and create his own firework company.

Robert has passed his passion for fireworks to his son, Stephen, who is Technical Director of the company, and has achieved a Fire & Safety Management BSc and Fire & Explosion Engineering MSc. This gives Aurora Fireworks the expertise to carry out firework displays in very demanding locations, such as on the roof of the tallest residential building in the country, The Manchester Hilton.

Since then the company has gone from strength to strength, conducting shows for prestige clients such as celebrities Billie Piper, Jamelia, Peter Andre, and also at the Meadowbank Stadium which was rated one of the top 10 shows in the UK. Corporate clients have included BMW, KIA, Royal & Sun Alliance, PPP Healthcare, Financial Times and the Novartis Group. Aurora Fireworks also aids local charities such as those helping cancer sufferers and supporting children's charities giving terminally ill children the chance to have their wish fulfilled.

Bespoke displays catered to your venue, enhancing the stunning appearance from water, foilage, rooftops or illumination of unique features. Fully choreographed displays scored to music of your choice. Aurora are fully self sufficient requiring no additional power or sound systems. At noise sensitive venues we have an extensive range of low noise fireworks that can be used with wireless silent disco technology for venues with no external music license. Every display is unique, we have no set packages so the show will be designed around your choices of duration, colour and impact. We also have access to close proximity pyrotechnics for grand entrances or exits with our celebration parade displays. Fully insured to £10m public liability, with BPA trained firing teams and the ability to clear the site of any debris with covers, mowers or hoovers.
