At Marvellous Disco, my goal is simple, to create an incredible atmosphere and a packed dance floor that you and your guests will remember long after the final song has played.

My DJ journey began over 21 years ago when I was just 17 years old, performing in a nightclub in my hometown of Alnwick, Northumberland. From those early days as a resident club DJ, through to hosting my own radio show on community station Lionheart Radio, music and entertaining crowds has always been a huge part of my life.

After purchasing my first set of disco equipment, I moved into the mobile disco scene and quickly found myself in high demand, performing regularly at weddings, parties and events across the North East. Over the years I have built extensive experience entertaining all kinds of crowds, learning how to read a room and select the right music at the right time to keep guests on the dance floor.

My career later took me further afield when I began managing Hedfone Party, a silent disco company owned by the team behind Marvellous Festivals. This opportunity saw me relocate to Berkshire where I focused on running large scale silent disco events across the South of England.

While living in the South, I admired the reputation of Marvellous Festivals so much that, with their permission, I created Marvellous Disco in the Home Counties. Over the next three years I built a fantastic reputation entertaining at weddings, parties and events at venues throughout the South East.

In 2013 I received some wonderful news, I was going to become a dad. Although I loved living in the South East, I am a Northerner at heart and decided it was time to move back home to Northumberland to raise my daughter Luella close to family.

Since returning to the North East, Marvellous Disco has gone from strength to strength. I have had the pleasure of performing at countless weddings and celebrations across the region, building a reputation for professionalism, reliability and unforgettable parties.

Over the years I have also had the opportunity to enjoy some unique experiences, including DJing at the Geordie Shore house in Newcastle and performing at a wedding that was later featured on Channel 4. Outside of DJing, I even appeared on several episodes of Big Brother’s Little Brother and won the chance to become the voice of Big Brother for a day, speaking directly to the housemates through the diary room.

While those experiences were exciting, weddings remain my true passion. There is something incredibly special about helping couples celebrate one of the biggest days of their lives, bringing family and friends together on the dance floor and creating moments that everyone will remember.

Every wedding is unique, which is why I take the time to understand exactly what you would like from your evening entertainment. Before your big day we will discuss your music preferences, favourite songs and any must-play tracks so that the night feels personal and perfectly suited to you and your guests.

On the night itself, the music is carefully mixed and tailored to the atmosphere in the room. From timeless classics to modern chart hits, floor-filling anthems to guilty pleasures, I aim to create the perfect soundtrack that keeps the energy high and the dance floor full throughout the evening.

Presentation is also incredibly important for a wedding celebration. Marvellous Disco features a stylish modern DJ booth and professional lighting setup designed to look elegant in any venue. The setup blends beautifully with your surroundings while creating an exciting party atmosphere once the dancing begins.

Behind the scenes I use high quality professional sound and lighting equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly. Reliability and attention to detail are extremely important, allowing you to relax and enjoy your evening knowing the entertainment is in safe hands.
