Cutting Edge Brides is a friendly and charming boutique in Bexley Village. We operate a small team with our own seamstress so you can enjoy a complete, personal service from start to finish.
The UK's leading short wedding dress specialists, there is no other store in the UK that stock such a diverse range of short and tea length wedding dresses. We are proud to represent women of all shapes and sizes stocking many of our designs from size 6 to 28 in a variation of lengths and colour. We can tailor our designer gowns to suit your personal taste, if you want sleeves added, no problem! colour? of course! If you live far away, we are worth the journey!

What to expect at your 1-2-1 dress fitting.
Every bride-to-be receives a friendly, personal and very laid back 1-2-1 appointment. No other customers will be present at your appointment, our time is dedicated to you only.
Appointments generally last around 1 hour with some extra time (apx 30 mins) after to take measurements and sort out paperwork for orders, should you choose to buy on the day.
We do not charge for appointments. There is no pressure to buy on the day and we welcome second visits should you wish to go and explore other bridal gown stores.
We offer refreshments and treats for you and your guests throughout your fitting.
We have beautiful tea length, knee length, calf length, ankle length and ballerina length short bridal wedding dresses to suit women of all ages, and stunning short wedding dress styles to
compliment every type of unique marriage theme whether it be in a traditional church, an informal sit down meal, a real vintage affair, or a Las Vegas extravaganza!
We offer a custom make bespoke wedding dress service with many of our bridal gowns.

Ask questions! Don’t leave any stone unturned. There are many things we can do with our bridal gowns to accommodate a brides personal taste.
Make sure the wedding party you take dress shopping really understand and know you incredibly well. Don’t take lots of people just because you feel you shouldn’t leave someone out.
Plan! Give yourself plenty of time in the lead up to your wedding day, you need to have tailoring after your gown arrives, you don’t want to have lots of last-minute panics.
