Anne works with you and your ideas to create a unique wedding dress of your dreams, meticulously crafted using couture techniques for the perfect fit. "I am lucky to have a job that i enjoy and am very inspired by each and every dress that i make from the more traditional to the very unusual. We can work together to design your dream dress, look through some beautiful fabric samples and embellishments, discuss colour, theme, shape and design, working to a budget that you are happy with, creating a unique, beautifully fitted dress for your special day. With a ba in costume interpretation and over 25 years’ experience in creating historical and modern dress for theatre, film and clientele it still gives me immense joy in creating that very special outfit." A new pattern is made for each client; a toile (mock-up of the dress) is made giving you the chance to picture what has been discussed so far and a chance to view the fit and design of the dress before cutting into the final fabric. A further two or three fittings will be needed once the dress has been constructed, to perfect the fit and refine the detail. Alterations of wedding dresses and garments are also undertaking, along with bridal and bridal attendee alterations and repairs. I am happy to steam a dress if required
