Kelvingrove Art Gallery
This beautiful gallery reopened in 2006 after a three year refurbishment, and since then it has become one of Scotland’s most visited tourist attractions! The grand building makes for a fantastic photo feature.
Glasgow Cathedral
This is the oldest Cathedral on mainland Scotland and the oldest building in Glasgow. The gothic feel and style of it certainly makes it stand out from the surroundings!

How about a night at the museum? Although this looks like the museum in the film, this is actually the Gallery of Modern Art in the city. It’s especially beautiful at night when it’s lit up, perfect for wedding photos.
Glasgow Science Centre
Another modern space, the Glasgow Science Centre was opened by Queen Elizabeth II on 5th July 2001. It is one of Scotland’s most popular paid-for visitor attractions.
Glasgow Botanic Gardens
If you’re wanting more of a natural background, the Botanic Gardens are filled with bright and beautiful blooms to make a feature on your wedding day. It features several glasshouses the most notable of which is Kibble Palace.
Glasgow Necropolis
Perhaps slightly more creepy, but still rather beautiful is Glasgow’s Necropolis. It’s a Victorian cemetery on a hill to the east of the Cathedral. Over 50,000 people are buried here! There are some fascinating monuments here too.
