The West Midlands has an abundance of beautiful wedding venues and some are really unique and will make your wedding venue stand out. We’ve gone through them and selected 10 of our absolute favourites. Enjoy!

 

1. Kitchen Garden Café

For quirkiness and intimacy, this wedding venue is really cute. It’s filled with fairy lights and illuminates a plant-filled courtyard in the heart of Birmingham. 2. Fazeley Studios

Renowned for its character and history, Fazeley Studios certainly deserved a place on our list. It’s in the heart of trendy Digbeth in Birmingham and includes a converted Unitarian Chapel. It’s so unique and has featured in British Vogue several times due to its quirky charm. It’s also very flexible with a number of different catering options and venue options. 3. The Old Library at Zellig

Another venue in the heart of this creative quarter in Birmingham, the Old Library is available for weddings seven days a week, can seat up to 150 people and has the capacity for 230. Bar extensions are available and the urban wedding photos you will get around this district will be really fun.

4. Hampton Manor

You know when you see celebrities get married in lavish venues filled with beautiful colours, flowers and chandeliers? Well, Solihull can rival it with Hampton Manor. This gorgeous venue has Michelin Star catering, was built in 1855 although has modern styling, set in the heart of the countryside although just 10 minutes from the motorway and comes with 45 acres of woodland. It’s literally the perfect West Midlands wedding venue!

5. The Bond, Birmingham

Another unique venue is the Bond in Birmingham. It’s also in Digbeth with a picturesque canal side setting, and has some quirky and alternative backdrops to your big day. This is a great location for a couple who are really on the search for something different and it comes with a fantastic history. Make sure to check it out!

6. The Iliffe, Laura Ashley Hotel

Now we head to Coventry where creative team Laura Ashley have redesigned the Iliffe to look as incredible as it does today. It was always a stunning Victorian mansion with an oak-panelled lounge and lovely landscaped gardens, but now its interiors have had a facelift and it’s beautiful both inside and out. 7. Newlands Bishop Farm

You may be looking for something a little more free-spirited, embracing nature and the outside world. That’s exactly what you will get with Newlands Bishop Farm. This gorgeous countryside venue is just outside of Solihull and is a very flexible space. You and your guests will be able to utilise their building, cottage garden, recycled garden, woodland walk, orchard and beach garden on your wedding day.

8. The Westmead Hotel

Hotel weddings are good, solid choices for weddings; they’re generally more affordable, they have purpose-designed spaces for weddings and they come with accommodation allowing you to work out a more affordable package. The Westmead Hotel is no exception. In Hopwood in Birmingham, packages start from just £3,250 and comes with an LED dancefloor until 1am!

9. The Hyatt Regency Hotel

Another great hotel venue is the Hyatt Regency in the heart of Birmingham. There are 10 versatile spaces to choose from to host your ceremony including the incredible atrium flooded with natural light, an on-site spa, restaurant and bar, experience with Asian weddings and trusted external caterers and 319 rooms for your guests after the party.

10. Unique Venues, Birmingham

Finally, we couldn’t create an article on the most unique venues in the West Midlands without giving UVB a mention. This incredible space includes a stage for your ceremony to take place on, seating for up to 240 guests, an outdoor terrace, plenty of theatrical props to use for your wedding and – the best part – they are licensed until 4am!
