A bold, unique and exclusive wedding venue in the Scottish Borders. We're all about fun and informal full weekend weddings.
They say opposites attract, and we have the perfect blend of old and new. The traditional Victorian building has been lovingly refurbished with a twist. Relax on eclectic furniture, mingle in the greenery and party in the vibrant nooks. The many pops of colour and patterns are a wedding photographers dream. So, you and your guests can choose from our many stylish, playful and (most importantly) Instagrammable backdrops.

Meet the Owner
We're Sarah & Mike. When we were looking for our own wedding venue we were surprised by the lack of options available if you wanted to do something a little different! That was when we decided that one day, we’d open our own wedding venue. After a long search, we found the perfect venue in Netherbyres House and opened for weddings (after a bit of a delay due to Covid) in 2021.

We can't imagine getting married anywhere else
We got married at Netherbyres on 16.10.21 and can't imagine getting married anywhere else! Netherbyres has so much personality and is and very different from all the other venues out there.
The day itself went so smoothly thanks to Sarah and Mike's coordination, and we loved the little personal touches like offering our favourite cocktail at the bar.
There are so many lovely photo opportunities in the house and in the grounds, making it the perfect location for a wedding regardless of the weather.
We would absolutely recommend Netherbyres to all other couples in need of a wedding venue!

So much more than 'just' a venue
Sarah & Mike were brilliant across all three days.
We never saw them flapping and actually their calmness was a massive help as it meant we were also nice and chilled!
They didn't stop working all day so we were so chuffed when they joined us briefly on the dancefloor.
Once the wedding was over, they also led the after party with the guests staying in the house, which was one of the highlights of the day.
They were so much more than 'just' a venue - they were part of the day and we'll always be grateful for that!"

It's such an absolutely stunning venue
We got married at Netherbyres in late June. It's such an absolutely stunning venue. The decor is beautiful, eclectic and luxe.
Speaking of the hosts themselves Sarah and Mike are wonderful. We moved our wedding four times and they were flexible, supportive and accommodating. On the weekend they were the perfect mix of attentive but gave us space to have run of the house as a family for the wedding weekend.
If you're looking for a stunning venue with great hosts and attention to detail stop right here! I'm still getting compliments on our wedding photos and guests raving about it.

The best weekend of our lives
Wow, what a weekend we had at Netherbyres House. We had our wedding there in June 2021 and it was the best weekend of our lives
The entire day was perfect and it was all thanks to Sarah & Mike. Everyone that attended our day couldn't stop talking about how amazing their surrounding were!
