Mercure Thame Lambert Hotel Reviews
We had originally booked back in February using an offer they had for a minimum of 50 people and up to 100. This all changed of course but they were incredibly flexible and we only had to pay a little bit for the venue and payed per head for guests. This saved us a lot of money and left us with an intimate event that worked amazingly.
During the day they did everything they could to help it run smoothly and make it as enjoyable as possible. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even turning off power to part of the hotel to turn some lights off so we could take better pictures with sparklers.
The entire event went better than we could have imagined with all the restrictions in place currently so we can't thank them enough.
We just wanted to write and say what a fantastic job you did on our wedding day. You were all so organised, it made the evening run really smoothly and be totally stress free. The food was delicious, the room set up beautifully and all your staff were so polite, helpful and efficient that you gave our guests a truly special experience. Please also pass our thanks to Dickon who played every single track we'd requested, he was fab!

We decorated the room ourselves, with toddlers and young kids running around, and Russell organised food (pizza...yum) and made sure everything we needed was rushed through to us!
The night before the wedding I had food delivered to my room, a drink I didnt even know I needed, and all last minute things I hadn't even thought of had been sorted out. I couldn't ask for more! On the wedding morning we were surprised with champagne, all the people who needed to be with me were "gently" ushered to my room, it was perfect. The wedding day went off without a hitch, last minute fussy eater changes were made without any problems, and the whole day was a huge success. I would not have received that service anywhere else.
Russell and Emma were extremely professional, as were all of the staff, even doing an irish jig for me before I left for the wedding ceremony so I didn't cry and ruin all of my makeup. Thank you!!
If you are looking for somewhere to stay, or to have your next big event, I couldn't recommend the Lambert more. All of my family have said that if they ever have to come and stay in the area they wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thank you all so much!!
