An enchanting country house with an eclectic mix of history, Delapré Abbey offers the perfect wedding venue for that special day.

Only 5 minutes from Northampton town centre but set within beautiful parkland, Delapre Abbey can cater for weddings from 5-500 guests in our stunning restored Victorian Bouverie rooms taking advantage of the views of the south lawn.

Now transformed into a luxury wedding and events venue, the Abbey boasts a number of elegant spaces for your celebration, with 8 beautifully restored licenced ceremony rooms that can also accommodate your wedding breakfast and evening party, there is something to suit everyone.

We don’t offer set packages at Delapre Abbey, we understand that your day should be unique and our dedicated events team are available to ensure that the day is tailored to your individual needs as we find that no two weddings are ever the same.

Our chefs are happy to discuss your catering needs and work with you to guarantee your wedding breakfast is everything you imagined and more.

The Abbey has a range of stunning photographic opportunities available – the walled garden, the parkland, the grand staircase, Victorian tiled hallway and for group shots our courtyard is sure to be a favourite.

Looking to start your special day in style? Delapre Abbey will also be offering rooms for the bridal party to get ready in, to be pampered with a glass of bubbly whilst putting those final touches to hair and make-up.

Adele and Amanda got the venue specifics spot on and I have received so many compliments about the food (both the wedding breakfast and evening bbq)

What a fantastic wedding venue we chose for our special day. We decided on a very short notice wedding, which under normal circumstances would have meant a lot of hassle and headache with organisation, but from the moment we made contact with Delepre Abbey and met with Katie our worries disappeared and the professional way in which everything was handled led to a faultless day which was enjoyed by everyone. The historic venue is perfect, the timetable and organisation was second to none and the whole venue is ideal for some great indoor and outdoor photo’s. we couldn’t be happier and can definitely recommend Delepre Abbey as the perfect venue.

A Perfect Day
I cannot express what an amazing day we had a Delapre Abbey! The whole day was perfect from beginning to end. Everything ran smoothly and I was relaxed on the day knowing that everything was being looked after by the events coordinator, Katie. Tom Hewer provided beautiful, bespoke food, which left the guests speechless.
The actual building is a privilege to get married in and I loved having four rooms for the day. This meant that there were no awkward waits whilst the rooms were being reorganised and it also meant that you didn’t need to be sat in a disco in the evening if you wanted a bit of peace. The location provided a beautiful backdrop for our photos too and we loved having outside space for the evening BBQ.
I cannot recommend this venue enough for your special day and I am so grateful to the staff for making our day so memorable.

Our amazing day at the most amazing venue!!
This place is so magical that we had to have our special day here!! The building itself has been restored so beautifully and the scenery is breath taking. The staff were incredibly friendly and did everything they could to ensure our day ran smoothly and if there were any hitches, we were certainly not aware of them!! The food was fantastic, the wine superb..........And you know it was a good day when people contact you afterwards to say that they felt that it was their special day, not just ours.
We couldn't have asked for more from the venue, thank you x
