Brinkburn St. Brewery is an independent microbrewery (est. 2015) located on Ford Street in the heart of the Ouseburn Valley in The People's Republic of Byker. Our Maling Hall warehouse events space has a capacity of up to 250.
Our hall has truly unique & quirky features to offer a venue that is alternative for your special day as it really works for those non-conformists who like to think outside the box - anything goes!
We've a wedding licence, so tie-the-knot here at Brinkburn and then spend your entire wedding reception and party with us.
Our kitchen can cater for all needs - from formal dining to buffet style and our chefs will work closely with you, within your budget, to produce a menu to your personal needs.
Our mission is to spread the word about the wonders of local beer, to make friends, build a community and bring people together. Come for a tasting before your wedding and decide what beers you’d like to offer on the bar.

We were after a relaxed, ‘non-traditional’ vibe for our recent wedding and Brinkburn Brewery was ideal for us!
No doubt the new kids on the block when it comes to hosting events. We were after a relaxed, ‘non-traditional’ vibe for our recent wedding and Brinkburn Brewery was ideal for us. A cool venue with mixed match chairs, artwork and trinkets adorned almost every surface and of course not forgetting the tiki bar. Michael and his team were fantastic and they went above and beyond to make sure our day went seamlessly. We chose the street food menu which included Burgers, Tacos, Pizza and so much more served at tables, and everything was delicious! We had comments throughout the night on how great the food was, I would highly recommend this as it was a great change from the usual ‘wedding breakfast’, which was a hit with all guests. We would highly recommend hosting your next event with Brinkburn. We can't thank them enough for making our special day everything we dreamed of.

We had an issue with our original venue and had to find a new one quickly. When we came across Brinkburn, Michael immediately put us at ease and took away so much of the stress. From start to finish, he was fantastic—always there when we needed him and making the planning process seamless.
The venue itself is incredible: spacious, versatile, and full of character. There are plenty of different areas for guests to relax and enjoy, and we had no problem adding personal touches like a photobooth and arcade machine. The kitchen setup was also perfect for bringing in our external caterer, which made everything run smoothly.
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Michael and the Brinkburn team went above and beyond, and I would wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone planning their wedding.
