FRIENDLY. DISCREET. LIGHT AND AIRY PHOTOS
So you’re looking for a photographer who will put you at your ease, be polite and unobtrusive on your wedding day and deliver stylish photos soon afterwards? Here’s what you can expect from me.
GORGEOUS IMAGES
Taking inspiration from the masters of the past and leading luxury photographers of today, I edit my photos in a light and airy, fine-art style. This suits the optimistic mood of your celebrations, gives your wedding an upmarket look and flatters skin tones. And in the evening, because I don’t overpower everything with flash lighting, my dancefloor photos show your DJ or band’s coloured lights.
SIMPLE PACKAGES
Choose the length of coverage that suits your day, then take up options like an album or an engagement shoot if they appeal to you. I don’t tie you into unwanted extras.
YOUR DAY YOUR WAY
Some couples want lots of group photos; others want only a few. Some want to spend up to an hour on romantic portraits of just the two of them at an off-site beauty spot; others give me just five minutes away from the party. Whatever your preferences are, I’ll fit in with them.
PRE-WEDDING PLANNING
To ensure we all know what’s happening when, and that I’m clear about what you want, I hold a zoom call with you a month before your wedding to go over timings on the day and find out the names of key people in your wedding party. I also provide a template to help you decide the groups you’d like me to photograph.
DISCRETION ON THE DAY
Your wedding’s all about you and your guests, not me. For most of the day, I take photos discreetly – silently during the ceremony, in fact – while being smartly-dressed, friendly and courteous to all your guests. Someone wants a photo with them and their friends? Happy to oblige.
PROMPT SERVICE
You don’t want to be kept waiting months for your wedding photos. I know how much you’ll be looking forward to them and usually succeed in delivering them within a month of your wedding. You’ll even get a sneak preview of 20 or so within a couple of days of your wedding.
ONLINE DELIVERY
In this age of Netflix streaming, who wants to receive their wedding photos on an easily-lost USB stick? From me, you’ll get your photos via an online gallery that you can share with family and friends, and as a digital download, so you can back your images up straightaway to a service of your choice, like Google Drive or Dropbox.
AFFORDABLE ARTISTRY
Encompassing everything from bridal preparations in the morning until after your first dance in the evening, full day coverage from me starts at £1495. Most couples expect to spend in the region of £2000 with extras.
EASY PAYMENT PLANS
To avoid a big bill 30 days before your wedding, you can pay the balance after your deposit in installments – four and two months before your wedding.

Meet the Key Person

Photographing couples as they make a lifelong commitment to each other and celebrate afterwards with family and friends: what better job could there be? Everybody is dressed up excited and enjoying the atmosphere at a beautiful venue. With a background in corporate event photography, I bring to wedding photography a love of discretely capturing emotions and special, shared moments between people. And having photographed landscapes and cities extensively, I have an eye for the sweeping vista that makes an inspiring backdrop to the cinematic couple portrait many couples love. As I see it, your photographer should mostly work in the background on your wedding day, and not be heard very much. This is the approach I take as much as possible. Of course, there are times when you need me to step forward, like during the formal family photographs and when I spirit you away for some romantic portraits. I’m happy to take charge with a twinkle in my eye and a ready quip to set everybody at ease. What else can I tell you? I love a good costume drama, a glass of Sauvignon blanc and walks in the New Forest when time permits. I look forward to getting to know you and your partner and learning all about your wedding plans.
