Many Brides and Grooms want their wedding photos to look a certain way that is important to them. If you leave Dave to do what he’s best at, you won’t be disappointed! I only gave Dave a rough idea of what I envisioned and he did not fall short of the brief.

He has a way to make your photos beautiful and natural, and brought the best out of us and our guests with his charismatic nature.

There were some moments in the day where I thought, ‘how could he have got those precious moments captured’, as he was hidden and quiet amongst the guests. He was not invasive in any way and still captured amazing close up photos.

He truly is knowledgeable and skilled in what he does, you can see from his website he can do different styles for your taste.

So, if you are in any way doubtful about any organisation to your wedding; leave the photography to him, it’s one less thing to worry about in a stress-full time.

We cannot recommend Burlison Photography enough, professional, experienced, friendly and helped in every way possible to make our wedding day run smoothly. Dave captured our day so beautifully, he made my wife and I feel at ease in front of the camera, something neither of us are good at! Dave knew all the best spots at Lainston House for our photos which meant that we then had time to enjoy the drink’s reception with our guests. Dave also put together a really beautiful album for us, well worth the money and something we would recommend, it is a lovely keepsake of our Wedding Day. Selecting our wedding photographer was one of the biggest decisions for us as we spent so much time and effort planning our wedding, so it was important to find the right people to help capture the memories that we can keep with us forever. I remember the first conversion I had with Dave and he immediately put me at ease and I felt confident that he was the right person to go with. Naturally funny and always knowing the right things to say, this continued to be the case on the day as was evident with the lovely expressions on ourselves and our guests captured throughout. He has the ability to take the right photo at the right time, bringing out everyone’s best smile.

I was blown away with how organised Dave was from the beginning, providing me with more than ample information and lists of important people he needed to be aware of. From the information he was asking of me, I was very assured that we were in safe hands. Being a multi-cultural wedding with various unique moments and events occurring, there were so many key events we wanted captured. They were also so flexible with our timings and made the extra effort to suit our needs.

On the day, both Dave and Rob (who was the videographer) were very professional, friendly and able to accommodate our needs and get through our extensive list of group shots! There was a moment where he could sense we were spending too much time simply taking photos and decided to break it up by allowing us to mingle with the crowd for a bit before finishing the session later on. Later on in the evening, he came to us when there was a great opportunity to take a few more couple shots outside which we managed to squeeze in. He was very good at sensing when to allow us to relax and enjoy the day and when to take photos. It never felt like a chore and despite that, managed to get so many great shots in throughout the day. It was helpful having both of them on the same team as they worked well in sync, seamlessly together without any disruptions.

In terms of editing the photos and videos, they have done such an amazing job and included everything we needed. We even got an extra highlights video in addition to an extended version where I had specifically mentioned numerous things we wanted to have, including the ceremony, speeches, first dance in full and much more footage of the entire day, beautifully edited with songs of our choice. Everyone who has seen our photos and videos have commented on the high quality and echo my thoughts on how natural and happy everyone looks!

Overall, I couldn’t recommend BURLISON Photography & Film enough and am very grateful for their efforts in making our day extra special.

Burlison were great to deal with from initial contact right through to after the wedding providing a professional service that made us feel confident and comfortable in how the day would go.

On the day they were very helpful and took all the pressure off us for photos, so we could just enjoy ourselves.

We are absolutely delighted with the photos, and so happy that so many special moments were captured of a day that we will always remember. Our wedding album has arrived and we love it as a permanent keepsake. We also loved the addition of being able to use the Drone to capture some amazing shots of our beautiful reception venue.

We booked Burlison Photography and Videography for our wedding after doing extensive research on options in the Hampshire/south of England area, and were blown away by the quality of his work.

He is hands down absolutely the best photographer my husband or I could have hoped for and ever experienced. He is incredibly personable with easy banter, and made everyone comfortable (posing for photos can be quite stressful!), whilst also being very professional and giving us better photos and videos than we could have imagined! His use of drones to capture footage absolutely gave our videos and photos a stunning cinematographic feel. The films were seamless, and he edited them for us set to beautiful music that was significant to us. These will be such fond videos to remember our wedding by, hopefully to our own children one day!

I myself, as the bride, felt beautiful with his constant reassurance, and I’m sure the photos are better for it! I’m not particularly photogenic otherwise, but he was able to capture my good side, haha. Everyone at our wedding was already asking for his contact information for their upcoming events, and we are very happy to recommend him to any and everyone that needs photography and videography done.
