I think 4mm is the standard width for a womans' wedding band. You might have to shop around a bit if you want to find a thinner one. I would like a 5 or 6mm one but will have to get it made specially as my ring has a twisted design xx

yeah i've seen 3mm rings in argos too..there not expensive either..apparently 18 carat is best ..as there is more actual gold in it.

I want a 3mm plain wedding band too. It's a little thicker than the band on my engagement ring. I don't want anything flash, just plain and simple.
We may get it off ebay elma.jewellery.ltd. I'm having a platinum band £181 pounds. Hubby wants Titanium £31.50 (bargain!!!)

My engagement ring is 3mm and so I want to match it...I have asked in a number or shops and they have all had it, although I've found quite cheap ones online after a 5 minute google search! Torialou...my other half isn't that bothered about his ring, so is looking for something cheaper...his friend recommended Palladium rather then Titanium...might be worth a look :o)

hi ladies thanks for all your advice, ive decided on a 9ct 3mm from hsamual, hubby said he wanted a cheap one as he is very clumsy with rings (lost everyone so far! takes them off 2 play with them at work or for the shower etc and they either get washed away or left and cleaned up by the cleaners at work) he did suggest him getting 2! one that he'll wear on the wedding day have it engraved and he wears it for gd nd one that looks similar but not as expensive that he can wear to work and on a general day to day basis

anybody else getting theirs engaged and if so what are they going to say?

    xx

has anyone used the b.o.l site mentioned by Kessy above? the site seems ridiculously cheaper than everywhere else we have searched online - it seems a bit odd.....

    Hi guys,

Our wedding comes soon and we are still looking for quality wedding rings of white gold with diamonds. We found the webpage of Ivan Mitev goldsmith from Germany. Wedding bands look very nice and are not so expensive.

Do you guys have already some experience with this goldsmith?
