Does anyone know whether it is bad etiquette to put a gift list on an evening invites? My mum seems to think that it is. what is everyone doing regarding this?

We're not. However we have a link to the wedding website, which has a link to the gift list.

We're putting the card in with the invites, it's up to the indiviual then if they want to get us something or not. Thats how i looked at it anyway!

I don't like 'wedding lists' full stop tbh. I think they are 'cheeky' telling folk what to buy and being specific what item etc...but, you KNOW that guests WILL want to give you a gift, so put a card in their invite detailing what you both would like.

If folk choose to buy you something then they will...
