Wedding Forum - First Date...

What was your first date, and did you know you wanted to marry him then???

Id known Stu for years at school, and hadnt a clue he liked me, and we dated for a while when we were 15/16, but then he joined the army and we didnt see eachother for 6 years :(
He then came back into my life and pretty much rescued me from a real crappy relationship... he also knew my obsession with Dirty Dancing!
So first date was 2 days in the west end to watch dirty dancing! I was so over whelmed, I cried, I couldnt imagine anything better for me!!!!

I don't we ever dated...

we knew each other for quite a while but we lived quite along distance from eachother (we met during a haven holiday!). I hadn't seen him for about a year. We kept intouch through text and FB. He mentioned he wanted to come back down he gave me some dates and i booked them off work,He asked me to be his GF the week before he came down, i said yes but was a bit scared as it was going to be long distance(Or so i thought).

We met at the train station, We had our first date at KFC i guess as he was starving when he got here it was the closest place to get food. Not romantic i know but we had such a great time laughing and joking!

Anyhow as soon as our eyes met when he got off the train i remembered why i liked him so much... he was due to go home on 20th dec. After 2 weeks of being with him i couldn't imagine him going home i felt really sad. I started packing his things to help him so he didn't have to worry doing it all himself, tears pouring down my face, he came in and asked me what i was doing, started unpacking and said "You wally! i'm not going home" he'd rang his mum and told her he couldn't leave as he loved me too much to go! Thats when i knew i'd found my husband! :0).
3years and 2 babies later we're getting married :0) I Love him soo much xx (sorry for the essay)

Hmm we didn't really date so much as hang out for the first few months. Our first "date" was having a movie night with many bottles of wine in my dorm room at uni. We ended up staying up all night talking and getting to know each other, and were inseperable after that. I don't think I knew I wanted to marry him then but I did know he was pretty special :)

we met online and our first meeting was at a pub, which happened to be closed that night (typical) so i was waiting outside for him, we then went to another pub and just hit it off straight away, we were both talking the hind legs off a donkey when suddenly at the exact same time we both went silent and shy, i felt a jolt and it turns out that he did as well (i found that out later tho)
im convinced cupid hit us both at that moment.
we did kiss at the bus stop and wow heaven :) and then i couldnt find my buspass so i was tempted to stay at his, but i was a good girl and went home having disapointedly found it.
4 days later we met up again and pretty much been living with each other since. and now 2 1/2 years later we have a 15 month old son and planning a wedding :) never in all my life did i picture that :)

hehehe right, I met Ant for the very first time on 25th May 2009 (Champions League Final where Man U lost :( sad times for Ant) when I was in the pub doing an Ann Summers party for a local friend and as I live in the village where the pub is I stayed for a few drinks afterwards. I clocked him and thought "Oh Yeah Baby!!!!" and I introduced myself. I presented a business card and gave him a proposition. I asked him if he would like to host his very own Dan Summers party (totally fictional) where he could have lots of gorgeous women parade around in lingerie for him. He agreed that he would love to have one.

Anyway a few weeks went by and i had not heard from him :( and the friend i did the ann smmers party for told me about a disco at the pub on 13th june and Ant wanted me to go. So I did, and when I saw him, I said the dan summers party was only available on a 1 to 1 basis ;P (cheeky) and he came and found me and we went out in the beer garden and talked, i told him to close his eyes and i kissed him lol

A woman came out and told me to go away but in expletive language so i just shrugged it off and left to go home, however he followed me and asked me to come back. I told him that he had my number and if he wanted me to ring me...

by the time i had reached my front door he was on the phone asking to meet me the next day. I met him at 1 pm and I got very sunburnt and he went into the bar and got a load of ice cubes and just held them on my back! I knew I wanted to marry him from this first date!!!!

We didn't date. We were friends before we got together tho. We never officially started going out either. He text me asking what was happening between us, I replied ' I dunno but I really like you' and he said 'good coz I like you too' and that's as far as the conversation went, lol. He's only taken me to the cinema once, we are trying to go out for meals once a month for mummy and daddy time, without the kids. So we 'date' more now then when we first got together lol. x

We met via SL online & a week after we had been speaking non-stop on skype, exchanging pics etc, putting our webcams on he asked if we could meet up, he came to my dad's but booked us a hotel.

I treated him to a nice meal out & the rest is history, we almost got engaged that first night, I've never had such a strong connection with anyone before & it's stil there but gets stronger everyday :)

I'm glad I went to Canada, fate helped me meet the man I love & will marry very soon :D

my h2bs brother lived next to my mam n thats how we met our first date was at seaton carew beach then after a year we moved in tgether but couldnt settle so moved back home did that three times n in the end he got with sumbody else.I started stalkin him n in the end he finished his girlfriend n i got back with him now 13 years later we r still tgether have two lovely girls we do argue n in 4 months i will be a mrs

Once we had been together for a few months we then wen't on our first official date.. we went for a meal and to the cinema to watch Die Hard 4 :)

we met while we were at a friends engagement party, i was best friend of the bride and he was best friend of the groom and we were making out by the end of the night! lol. but our first real date we went to the cinema to watch a movie i dont remember what it was and then he took me to meet his dad! He said he knew straight away that he wanted to be with me. AWWWW.
