I was wondering, when should I send out the Save the Dates card? We are not getting married for another 14 months, but I have people from to Scotland from England, CA and Cyprus, so want to get them out in plenty of time. I am going to make these myself.
Also, your thoughts please...this is what I plan to put in them:
Craig William Darroch & Gemma Louise Gibb Are getting married on Friday 22nd July 2011 and would like you to save the date.
Invite to Follow (or if its evening guests) Evening Invite to follow
this will be all centred in the middle of the card.
Please let me know what you think. Gem :)

Sounds perfect, and I'd send them out ASAP so people don't book holidays etc in the meantime!

I'm sending save the date emails. Only for the people who will be with us all day. I don't have a lot of people's addresses so email is easier. will be asking for addresses when I send them. I'm sending them as soon as the registrar is booked so about 1 year before. xx
Oh BTW the wording is fine. xx
I can't believe we've actually done it
I am now Mrs Limara Tester

thank you.
See Craig said to just email them out, but I don't have everyone email address either, so I will just make them and send them where possible and any I need to email I will just create some on publisher and send them over.
Glad the wording sounds ok...was not sure.
Going to go into Glasgow tomorrow to buy the bits and pieces to make them and then do them at the weekend, also got the engagement party to sort out...oh all this planning...I'm loving it! lol xx
