My H2B is terrified of dancing in front of people. Says he can't dance. So I was thinking maybe I'd put my (years old) singing tuition to good use and sing to him, only problem being, I haven't sang in public in 15 years, and am terrified. H2B said it was an amazing and thoughtful idea, but should I give him a recording of me to see if my voice is good enough??

Sing to someone else and tell them give you their honest opinion. that way if your voice is amazing it will blow h2b away on the day. it will be a big surprise, i cant sing so i will be making a cd of all our favourite song and sending it to h2b with a message on our wedding day.

Just get some practise in before the wedding. Singing exercises etc, you can go on youtube and watch singing lessons for free to help you along the way. At the end of the day tho it doesn't really matter if you voice isn't perfect, its a really thoughtful and brave thing to do and I'm sure he will appreciate it whatever you sound like x x x

i think you should let someone else see if your voice is good enough because H2B sounds like he would say its amazing even if it wasn't its a very sweet idea tho i'm not doing the first dance because i cant dance and h2b dunt wanna
