Does any1 know if you are supposed to invite ur registrar to ur meal etc? I know with a minister u do, and they sit at the top table n do the prayer! But, we are far from religious and dont want that! So, does that mean we can get away with not inviting the registrar?

All civil ceremonies I've been to, the registrar has done their bit and gone home hun x

Our registrar is staying but only because he is a family friend who has been allowed to do it!
I don't think they get invited to stay for the meal, they may have other weddings or other engagements on the day as well anyway x

they will have loads of wedding to do on the day so wont have time to stay and really who would want them too? unless they were a friend lol.
