hi everyone how much did you/are you paying for your wedding rings? the ring i like is well in excess of 1k and i dont know if i'd be pushing it asking h2b to pay for it, when we get round to it. ive got little fingers and dont have space for engagement, wedding and eternity ring so was thinking of combining wedding with eternity and having full band of diamonds. have to get it in platinum as well cos my engagement ring is platinum. bit dismayed really at the price x

Mine is 18ct white gold 4mm and has 4 diamonds, h2b's is 18ct white gold 5mm and has one big diamond in it and both ar £637 ;-)
At the end of the day rings and photos are the only things you'll have BEYOND the day (apart from your HUSBAND HEHEHE) so im paying out that little bit extra for those and cutting back elsewhere. If thats what you want and you can find the extra..............go for it babe.

Den - well it is expensive, but you will hopefully be wearing it the rest of your life, so there's no point in compromising on the one you want.

I have no idea. However Pidge wanted to splash out on it. I won't be getting an eternity ring as I would feel like a christmas tree with all that jewellery on.

I'm having a plain white gold band shaped to my engagement ring. Only have small hands and don't want to take away how lovely my engagement ring is so going plain. It's costing about £70 for the ring and £30 for shaping. x

l paid H2b's ring was £300 and he paid £985 for mine but to be fair l dont really wear a lot of different jewellery, so what he bought me for valentine's and xmas has been the only jewellery and l won't be getting any more, so ladies by the time to add up all the bits your lovely men have surprised you with for birthday's xmas ect it's not that bad and l will wear it every day x

Out of interest Alsbetty where abouts are you getting your rings from? We only have a small budget and can't afford to spend a lot on the rings but I am having trouble trying to find some nice but affordable ones! x

hmm... it is alot isnt it. the one i tried on yesterday that was like WOW was £2015, ive been looking online today and found one i like for just under £1k. i didnt actually tell h2b the price, just that he'd have to sell a body part for it. he just laughed. ill tell him tonight when i see him lol. my engagement ring is worth rather alot and not sure if he'd be entirely happy with me having bling on my finger worth double figures. the ring prices everyone else has sounds more reasonable but if i can have the ring i would like then, hell yes i'm gonna go for it ha ha!!! thanks for replying :-) x

I think mine was about £20, very fine white gold one, his is £90 a handmade recycled silver one from a lady in Cornwall, his is lush, mine is more functional as I dont think my engagement ring would go with anything else.

the wedding ring i've seen is £550 for a plain 2.5mm platinum band (need a small band as have a knife edge band on my engagement ring!), h2b can't make up his mind and has like rings costing from £100 to £2407!! hoping to have some of those people who come round to your house to show you wedding rings round soon (as they'll be cheaper than high st jewellers) but keep forgetting to book an appointment - must get onto it!! x x

We were £700 for both rings!! My ring was originally £395 but I got a 20% discount so got it for £316 and H2B was £384! My ring is 9ct White Gold but my engagement ring is 18ct White Gold. I spoke with a jeweller before getting my wedding ring and was advised that their is no difference between 9ct and 18ct white gold only the price and that your better off with the 9ct so thats why I have a 9ct white gold wedding band xx

I have a very sparkly engagement ring so we have opted for very plain white gold bands both came to £200.00. But remember that you will be wearing that ring everyday for the rest of your life so go for it and cut back else where if you have to.

hmm its tricky isnt it. like everyone says its on your finger forever and no point scrimping and saving. told him last night that i tried on in shop and i didnt dare tell him how much it was for lol!! think ill prob just look around, ive already found same one half price of what i tried on so if i keep looking and find it less that 1k then he might relent. altho he sounded more interested when i said i wanted a boob job ha ha!! he thinks i wouldnt go ahead with it but after seeing a woman in gym with em i am rather interested lol x
