What three people (dead or alive) would you love to have at your wedding that won't be there?

Can be famous historial figures, relatives, celebrities, your heroes etc.

    Why them?

without a doubt this is the only part of my wedding thats upsetting me,it has to be my nannies and my godfather who died on the sir galahad during the falklands war,he was a welsh guard,,his wife my godmother is coming and their sons, hes my hero,he died doing something to help alot of people.my nannies always worried that id never settle,my one nan died before alisha was born so we named her after her favourite cat pheobie,my other nan was there for me when i broke up with the childrens dad and she was always telling me that one day id find my mr right, and how right she was

My nan, she died when i was 7. she was an absolute gem my daughter is the spitting image of her so in some ways it feels like she will be there anyway.
um the other 2 are a bit harder to think of ....... ummmm.........
I would of loved to have the Beatles play at the reception, because i think they were great
    and finally
Daryls Uncle Jack who has just recently passed away, for no other reason than we miss him xxx

My Grandfather- died two years before I was born- but had the most fascinating life which I'm trying to piece together. Would love to hear it all first hand.

My Gran- died so suddenly and I always thought she'd be there when I got married. Her sprorts results were still appearing in the local papers after her obituary.

Pidges Grandma Jean- I know Pidge would love to have her there. She apparently thought we would het married after sending an afternoon with us a few weeks into her relationship. And on that afternoon walked in on my housemates conversation on s*x toys. Fantastic woman.

And one more because I'm greedy- Winston Churchill. Extremely rude and cantankerous- but fascinating.

i wouldn't have dead relatives as i have done my grieving it would just hurt the people i love even more to 'bring them back for a day' so i would have
Micheal buble- to sing our first dance song
and that's it i don't want too many celeb's to steal my limelight ;D

My mam and dad without doubt! I miss them everyday and since we started planning the wedding its hurting even more :(

Its the little things like when i went to book my horse and carriage the guy was like "your dad will be so proud of you when he see's you" and when i was at a wedding fair a woman was asking if my mam had her outfit sorted. I know its not their fault as they arnt to know but it just make me want to cry on the spot x

My nan who died a month before we found out i was pregnant with my daughter.
And Matts younger brother who died of cancer 4 years ago, would have loved to have met him.

I would have my brothers long time girlfriend who passed away from lukemia last month, she was battling it when I got engaged and I wanted her to get better so she could be my bridesmaid, but at christmas we were told the lukemia was back and it was very sadly fatel, she was 22 :( She set me and my fiance up, so I'm gutted she wont be there the day we get married. RIP Claire :(

Also, I'd have Elvis, that would make my mums day! And, ummm, My fiances hero, James Cameron, I'd love him to film our wedding, lol xx

Elvis is a great call, may have to steal that for my fantasy wedding!

I think I'd go for... Eddie Izzard for comedy value, Michael Palin because he'll have a lot to say and it'd be cool to have a Python at your wedding, Douglas Adams, because I always wanted to meet him, Terry Pratchett - I'd love to meet him before his brain sadly gives out entirely, Stephen Hawking as designated wedding genius, AA Gill so he can talk amusingly about the food, Derren Brown for close-up magic and H2B's mum who died in 2007.

Hang on, how many was I allowed again?

My Granny, my Auntie Jean & my Auntie Liz, the 2 aunties were really close family friends that if were still alive would have tried to come to see me get married.

My granny died 3 years ago now & she never managed to see my sister get married but she did get to met my sister's husband it is a shame she never knew my Adam, she would have really liked him :(

Too many to choose from but if I had to say only 3 then it would have to be my fab Aunt Isobel (my Dad's only sister) who was my absolute fave auntie who as a youngster I'd beg to stay with and spend quality time with her, she was an inspiration to me but sadly died when I was 9 to stomach cancer. I have so many fond memories of her. My brother Hendry who I never met as he passed away at 2 days old due to spina bifida in the 60's, if only they had the medical knowledge then that they do now I may have met him but I feel he is here with me always. And finally a fab friend of mine who battled breast cancer with all her mite and never complained even though she had fibromyalgia too and always had a good word to say to everyone but her life was cut short last summer. I will be carrying a piece of the headscarf I had bought her with me when I marry as a remembrance to her, god bless you Ellie. xx
