So we've decided to do table names instead of numbers and are going to do favourite films. I've got the images ready to print and frame for the tables themselves but am unsure how to do the table plan for guests arriving so they know where to sit i.e. which table. Really would like to incorporate the images per table in the plan with the guests names assigned to each table. Any ideas on how I can do this would be great, any good sites would be useful too. Thanks in advance xx

Ive got the idea of my table plan from ebay babe, have you look at differewnt ones on there then go from there. Also there are loads of card sites that do table plans look at these to get ideas. I have a few sites if you want the links?

what about escort cards instead on a role of film
an envelope per person with their table name on a card inside with a picture of the film and maybe a fast fact on each
Emmielene that is an awesome idea!!!!!! Plus the guests will get a surprise about who they are sitting with until they actually sit down then :o)

Im lovin Emmielenes idea too!! That sounds great! Im doin rock bands as our table names. AC/DC, Alice Cooper, things like that! Im makin the table plan myself. Basically its gonna b A2 size, maybe A1. Im gonna have top table with a big square below it for the dance floor, then have a whole pile of circles everywhere, thats gonna b the shape of the tables, and write the names of the bands in the circles. Then at the bottom i'll have rectangles with table names at top and the guests names in it! Im gonna use silver card for the base, adn then get light blue paper for tables and name bits, and then write in a darker blue so it shows up. That'll keep it in theme with rest of stuff. Does that makes sense? Xxx

I'm feeling quite smug that having ditched the idea of sit down meal, I've done away with the stress of the table plan thing... though Emmielene's idea is Fantastic!
