Hi Girls. My evening invite replies should have been back by 22nd April but I still have quite a few outstanding. How long do you think I should wait before chasing people up? We gave them plenty of time to reply so i am quite annoyed about it!!!!

Yeah start chasing now!! I have had hardly any evening acceptances back it's so annoying especially when you get people saying oh do you need us to send them back - eh why do you think I sent them out in the 1st place?? We have an R.S.V.P by 1st june and have had all but 2 of the Wedding Acceptances back it's just the evening that are proving difficult to get in but I was more worried about the wedding acceptances so although i'm mad people aren't sending the evening ones back its not life of death that I get them!!! xx

Thanks I will start chasing people now then :-) I agree with Joolsy. The day invites came back really well its just te evening ones that are causing problems now. It's hard as the venue wants final numbers but there are so many missing replies. I knew we should have eloped to Vegas......lol.

Chase now, don't wait any longer. It's a bit last minute as it is. I'm giving people a deadline of 2 months before my wedding to RSVP so I will be getting my mum and MIL2be to chase up any stragglers with plenty of time to get final numbers for venue :)

I would definitely chase now. I will be chasing my rsvps in June for my July wedding, maybe even in May. If i have one bug bear about planning this wedding its not getting RSVP's back! grrr lol

That is so annyoing..... I would say chase them now.... not that you should be chasing!! I got so fed up in chasing the same people in the end i just said, I take it your not coming as i havent heard from you.... you will be surprised how may acceptance you get back then. good luck x x

I'm really surprised how many people are sending out RSVP's with their evening invites - we're not bothering. Going to ask people to RSVP online (via the wedding website) but presume they won't bother, and it doesn't really matter that much for my catering.

i'm getting really angry now about this rsvp stuff not too bothered about the evening invites but nobody has bothered replying to my day time ones i'm chasing them up now and all i get is i didn't think i needed to reply!! what there's a bloody great rsvp stamped on it ahhhhhhhhh!!!
