Not for me, my H2b is very different from my dad. But I don't speak to my dad, so that's not really surprising :) I'm not much like my H2b's mum was either, she was nuts!
My H2B has all the good qualities that my Dad had, and the way he loves me and looks after me. Obviously doesn't look a thing like him, but as a person, yes, thinking about it, very similar! Hopefully I'm not like his mum though, all he does is complain and winge about her! x

I do believe it!! When i was growing up my dad use to say to me that there would never be anyone good enough for me (as most dad's do for there little girls) and every partner i have had my dad has liked but never really warmed to that mich, until the day i told him i was with ben, my dad already knew ben and was over the moon when i told him, and he said you can marry this one, he's a decent bloke, just like me!! lol and the sad thing is they are so alike!! My dad is having his house re done at the mo so is living with us, and it is like they are best frineds not father and son in law! they are so similar and i stand back and look at them and realise i love them both so much!!! I would be lost without both of them!! xxx

Well my dad is short, slightly rounded with dark hair and my h2b is a giant ginger skin head rugby player, so not many similarities looks wise (although now I'm imagining h2b with my dads italian style dark hair and its making me laugh), but they both have the same family values and can talk about DIY for hours really excitedly, so there is definitely some similarities! :o)

H2B is nothing like my real dad, but in my case i was closer to my grandad than my dad, and everybody in my family has said that H2B is so much like my grandad, as he is so laid back like he was, if he was any more laid back he would be dead lol, my grandad never liked arguing but if he said no that was it there was no way he would change his mind, and H2B is like that, everybody loves him and thats the same, and my Grandad never handled the money my nan did and that is the same as well lol xxx

My h2b probably has the same good qualities as my dad. They're both good at (and enjoy) housework (got a good un there lol), both hardworking and like to provide for their family - oh and both Pisces (8 days between their birthdays - but different ages obviously lol). My dad's a technophobe though - so that's where the similarities end because Gav is very technically minded (always fiddling with computers etc). Now I've said that it sounds really strange....

i think both dad and h2b are similar in there values and of course there love for me, at first my dad was like who is this guy that got you pregnant, now they are like father and son, when he comes round to our house the first person he ask for is my h2b. and his mum is very similar to me

oh yes, completely true! My H2B is so like my dad, they even come out with the same expressions and lines when im with them. its quite funny. And i'm quite like his mum too in various ways. Also we as a couple are very like his parents. :) I hope we are still as much in love when we are their age as we, and they, are now :)

my H2B is scarily like my dad in so many freaky ways, and the wierd thing is that they never met, my father passed away a month before i met my partner. They have little habits that are the same and their sense of humor. It is a little freaky at times, but very comforting. Not sure about me and his mum being similar, it is possible, i know i annoy him, and his mum annoys him...thats as far as it goes i think. I'm more like his sister who he is closer to than his mum anyway.

I would be mortified if anyone ever thought my h2b and biological father would be alike. I've not spoken to my father for over 20 years, not that i would want to. I hate him (people may think it sounds harsh, but i have my reasons). My father wont be getting an invite to the wedding, he wont even know it happening. xx

I'm really trying to think of similarites between pidge and Dad now.. They are both honest, loving, trust worthy men. They work hard to get what they want. They both love the woman they are going to marry/ are married to unconditionally. They both believe a sports competition (running for my dad, rugby for Pidge) should be continued in the bar afterwards.
But in many ways they are opposite. Pidge is an outgoing, risk taking army officer, my dad is a quiet maths and computer geek. But I love them both completely.

Mine is scarily like my dad. In there manerisms, the way they sit even. Especially the things they say, i find my self thinking that my Dad would say some of the stupid things H2B says and vice versa. They also laugh at each others jokes when nobody else does. I think my H2B will be very much like my dad when he's his age (although not so short; unless he shrinks about a foot in 30 years lol.)

I hope to god this isn't true lol I wouldn't want to be anything like Dodgey Boy's mother!!!! And he is nothing like my dad! My dad never showed us much affection as children although we are very close he just didn't show his feelings... Dodge adores his children and showers them with love and affection so there is no resemblance between the two of them!

Yeah i agree with it as my h2b is scarily like my dad in most ways they both computer mad and both spend every min of everyday when not working or sleeping on the damn thing it only wen they out i can get on one!! tho lookswise etc they not that much alike my dad 6 foot other half shorter than me (5'8 me) and he likes oasis and my dad (and i) dont!! but i couldnt do without either of them they both give the best cuddles when i feel upset or something tho last thing at night cuddles with oh are the best. Have always been a daddy's girl and my dad really likes Ry so am happy. Love em both to bits!! now about the other bit? Hmmm dont think me and his mum are that much alike she really has yo clean everything and if there nowt to clean she will clean again anyway im not so muchj into cleaning!! tho we both are more likely to sit back and stay out of disagreements we will interfere if someone is hurting our loved ones!!!

my dad and al couldn't be any more different if they tried haha, but i love them both to bits! the funny thing is though is that als dad has remarried and his new wife and me are sooooo similar its scary not in looks but personality and what we like etc, al said his dad said he knew i was perfect for al the first time he met me because i was just like his Gill awww, love his dad so much he always give me huge squishy dad hugs when he sees me, just like my dad x
