i found the dress on saturday. it was the second one i tried on. It's a bit unique and its in a silver/grey colour (strange as i hate the idea of coloured dresses) i love it even though it's everything ive always said no to (sweetheart line, colour etc).
thing i'm worried about is other people liking it. one of my brides maids came with me in the end and loves it but i put a picture on facebook for my other bridesmaids and friends to see and no one left a single blooming comment !!! i wanted at least one ooooohhhhhhh
now i'm beginnning to worry that everyone will think it's urgh and now i'm thinking maybe it's not the dress for me what a pain.

huni dont worry if u loved it and had that feeling "THIS IS THE ONE" then it doesnt matter what anybody else thinks its your day your special dress and u need to be happy not them. i think it sounds lovely have u got any pictures of it on here xx

i went to a wedding show 3 years ago with my mum when my sister was planning her wedding, it was a blue/grey colour and i loved it. i think my mum expects me to have something different. the catwalk model looked like me simular figure blonde/ blue eyes and so i could easily picture it on me. if you love it go for it.xxx

Definately just tagging onto what other girls have said....if this dress makes you feel special then go for it...I think there will be a lot of people that wont like my dress and will also be shocked I have gone for what I have but it makes me feel like a million dollars and I know my H2B will love me in it...

think ive got the hang of it.
Ive just loaded 3 pics up. Basically i'm going to lose weight (probably heard all that before) so ignore me now and the fact it doesn't fit me right. If id taken that dress in that size on teh day i would have got the discounted price but as i was thinking i may still have cream colour i didn't take it sale price now wish i had.

Thank you SOOOO much you guys. that's really lovely to hear. I absolutely love it and knew as i was walking out of the changing room that it was the one. it's way over my budget as it's over £1k (and that's with a discount) but my partner said if i love it we will get the money somehow (that's why i'm marrying him).

i nearly bought a silver wedding dress but the neck line was all wrong. ur dress is beautiful. how wants to be samey. if you love it want to put it on all the time and love how u feeel in it, its the one. dont worry what anyone else thinks. i tried on a dress and really loved it but my doubtd in its uniqueness proved to be stronger. u will know its the one no ones opionion is more important than ur own

it look lovely on you hunni keep your chin up its your day and you wear what you want to wear on your big day. i was the same didnt want anything like the dres i have got and i love it now i got and try it on regular hehe. you will find yourself doing the same and everytime you wear it you dont wanna take it off. its gorgeous :)

Gorgeous dress! Who cares what others think, besides I don't see anyone knocking it, especially if you choose complementary colours for everything else that bring out that vintagey feel! You look lovely in it though!!

Hi, I agree, its your dress and if you love it and it feels right then go for it! We could all display our dresses and even though we all like each others, how boring would it be if we all had the same dress! Ive seen loads of gorgeous dresses on here, but they just arent for me, nor would they probably suit me! When you walk down the aisle, youll be gettin the ooohs and ahhhhs!

Apart from that I think it's a really lovely colour sort of like a dove grey..it will look great with almost any other colour you choose for a theme - purple, black etc.

Ally - JUST looked at your dress and the Icy colour is BEAUTIFUL. Believe me, I would have refrained from posting if I didnt like it.
Also, their are many reasons why you may find your BM have not commented...JEALOUSY could be a major factor.
It is lovely, accessorize well...and you'll be a bride they are all friggin JEALOUS off!
