We have been invited to a wedding day celebration that we've known about now for a little while. It's for a lovely couple in their 60s - my OH used to lodge with the guy getting married.
The wedding service is being held in their local registry office, but is an intimate affair for only 16 people - their family. We've been invited to join them for their wedding breakfast, which is at 11am in the morning and in the evening there will be a buffet in a nearby pub.
I think it's going to be quite an informal affair - the wedding breakfast is being held in a well known chain of bar/restaurant places.
Now I am at a complete loss on what to wear! My OH said he'll put on a shirt, trousers and smart jacket. I don't even know where to start - always so much more difficult for us than men! I was thinking a smart tunic, opaques and some heeled boots, but not sure if that is wedding-ney enough!
You're help would be greatfully appreciated!!!

Yeah I woukd go with simple dress too- even if it's an informal wedding on a weds, still nice to make an effort a look smart :-) xx
