This is really disgusting but when I get nervous the first place I sweat is my upper lip and the top of my forehead/hairline....
Ive never done it before and to be honest I wouldnt contemplate doing it if I werent getting married but is it possible to spray your face with an anti-perspirent before you apply your makeup? I know it seems a weird question to ask but on my hen do I was hot my face just melted off, I was only out for a few hours and my entire face was a mess.
If this is not OK, any advice for keeping your makeup on?

I don't know if that would work hun as ive never tried it or know anyone who has, can you not use a matte setting powder to keep the sweat at bay? maybe your make up artist could advise what would work best xx

You can get make up setting sprays which may help - like Sarah said, I would speak to your MUA (if you're having one) to see what they would recommend. If you're not having one, try speaking to someone in B00ts who should be able to recommend something.
Sounds odd, but I spray my face with hairspray when I have done my make up to set it (dancing trick)!

You could try using b0urj01s face primer it comes in a little round pot but is like a matte set on your face I use it for my day to day make up base and I've never had an issue. If not, try as the ladies have suggested above setting sprays are brilliant for before and after make up.
Thanks girls, how did I not know these things existed! Great advice about the hairspray I might try that, I dont have a MUA so it'll just be me.
I think a primer would help the normal lady but it just seems to make my upper lip sweat more, I rarely wear makeup so my skin can breathe. I like the idea of the hairspray it makes sense. I'll try it out tomorrow. xx

L'0r3al fixing mist works for me, just make sure you shake first otherwise ends up white! Lol

This is an interesting thread. Never thought of this, I don't use anything to set my makeup.

I don't use it but I have heard of the hairspray thing..... It sends me spotty though if it gets on my forehead hence I don't do it but try it......
Primers are supposed to be good and yes, the setting powder xx

Matt primers under the makeup are fabulous for greasy skin, so I think will work for sweat too.
You can get setting sprays to use after as well. I've got a tube of setting cream called n@n0 8lur which is good too, it smooths any blemishes or wrinkles.
Only advice is trial the primers and setting sprays first as some can look bright or glow funny in photos. Look for "photo friendly" ones.
