Bit of a sensitive subject for me but has any plus size ladies here ever had a boudoir photo shoot??? I get married in 4 weeks and have won a boudoir photo shoot that I will present to hubby on the wedding day. I'm totally nervous as it is tomorrow!!! I look horrid in all my underwear! My wedding underwear isn't super sexy as I went for comfort more! What would you suggest? Many thanks X

I haven't done a boudoir photo shoot but I remember reading that if you're conscious of your tummy area to wear a baby doll style set.
I think we are our own worst critiques when it comes to our bodies. Your oh is marrying you for who you are! Also the photographer will know what angle to photo you from and how to best present your best features!
Let me know how you get on. I'd really love to do this myself!

i would have loved to have this, im just so shy but i know that they do booking some places where you go with a friend (not in the same shoot but they make a day of it) i think id feel much better doing it that way. I love babydolls to be honest, they flatter any figure. and i think a fuller figure looks fantastic with vintage and pin up shoots you could maybe do something in this fashion?

Mrs P2be, they sound great things to take (especially the killer heels lol). I had a boudoir shoot last year as a pressie for hubby. I'm a size 16 (with a wobbly belly and big thighs) and DD boobs and my pics are great, hubby LOVED them! As MrsC said they know the best angles to get flattering pics. I found it a good confidence boosterxx

It was amazing! She made me feel so comfortable. Only down side to it was if I wanted extra prints it was £150 for 1!!!! I will definitely be doing it again! Maybe for hubby 40th. Will need to save up to get the package i would want. It was so hard to pick just 1 photo x

My friend won a photo shoot with a free print for 2 people. (a free print each)
We went along and had a fab day, they did our hair/make up. We took 3 changes of clothes each and they took loads of pics. Some they touched up to remove wrinkles/blemishes, all the photos were fab.
In the end I chose my free print, but as I loved them all so much - I ended up spending £600 on an album with every photo (some 60 pics) a CD, and two large pics (and also had my free one)
Its so easy to get carried away - free drink and nibbles.
I love my pics, but since then I've lost 2 stone in weight and want them done again.
If I decide to do them again I would deffo do a boudoir shoot
