Hi all, We're not sending any Save the Dates for our wedding, (2nd Sep 2017) but just wondered when the best time to send our invites out was because of this? I know the usual time for STD's is 9-12months before, then 5 months for invites, but if we're only doing one, at what point should we send our invites?
We're having 100 day guests and 150 evening guests.
Any help appreciated!
Thanks x

We didn't send save the dates. We are having a relatively small wedding (41 people) made up of just very close friends and family, so we told everyone the date anyway and didn't actually need to send out save the dates. We sent our invitations out a couple of weeks ago, so 5 months in advance xx

We are getting married Oct 17 and sending invites in April 17 but are sending STDs.
I would send your invites in Feb or March.
My friend is getting married this year after a short engagement so haven't sent STDs. They did a book of face STD though and created an event asking everyone to save the date.
Met in 2009
He proposed Jan 2014
Will become Mrs P 7th October 2017

I think it depends on how many people your inviting? If it's only a small amount I would just make sure they are aware of when it is and then send invites 6 months before the wedding. As any earlier might as well send stds :) x
