Hi. So I recently signed up to ukbride but still don't think I'm making the most of the site. Any tips ladies? Have you found it useful for planning your perfect day?

Just have a good old browse about clicking on this and that to see what is what. You'll get there, enjoy and look forward to hearig your plans. There is a checklist which is great as a starting point.

    Hi Laura.

Have a read through the forum rules and brides checklist. The search function is good too for finding threads on a topic you might be interested in.

    The official threads are good.

    Enjoy the site.

Hi Laura, I know what you mean, there are so many tabs at the top of the page that I feel I should be utilising!

I find the supplier links to be a bit hit-and-miss, as it depend on whether or not local suppliers have listed their info here and many haven't, so g00gl3 searches have proved to be more fruitful for me.

I do really like the 'My Wedding' tab where there are good tools for recording your budget, guest list etc. and where there is also an option to keep an ongoing wedding diary (I've not started one yet though).

Most of all though I love this site for the forum, there are so many nice people willing to chat, and the official threads are so valuable for ideas. I really love other brides' 'wedding reports' too :) Also, no-body ever gets sick of talking weddings here - can't say the same for real life!

Good luck and enjoy your time at UKBride x
