Hello everyone, My name is Janet and I am getting married in June 2016. My partner and I have been together for 20 years and I will be 59 at the time of my marriage. The venue/photographer/hair & makeup are booked but have yet done nothing else! It will be a very small wedding, less than 10 guests, but I will be organising everything and I know very little about weddings! I was a bridesmaid when I was 18 and basically have tried to avoid all things wedding since then!
I have no idea about dresses and have come here for a little help and guidance. Could anyone recommend bridal shops in the Greater (north) Manchester area at all?

Hello, welcome to the UKBride family. I don't know Manchester that well but I imagine a day in central Manchester and a day in the Trafford centre would put you in reach of a lot of shops.
