I'm looking to get married in less than a year and I'm struggling to find somewhere nice without feeling completely ripped off, anyone been to or getting hitched in Derbyshire/Staffordshire area that could help? Ideally would like the whole thing in one place like a hotel or Manor House , but for the right place and price we can split venues :) Thanks in advance Lx

I went to a wedding last year in Staffordshire called the ashes barn or something, it was beautiful- depends where you live there is also packing on moor farm but that is more Lichfield
I suppose it depends on size and budget

I'm getting married in Derbyshire, there's a few around.... Depends what your numbers are and what you want etc. we've decided to get married on a Monday which definitely helps the price..... We've chosen sh0ttle h&ll near belper which also has 10% off venue prices for ukbride members I discovered!
I was looking for an old House or hotel too and there are quite a few around the peaks, again depends on your budget really. Not sure if I'm allowed to list the ones I've discovered on my research x
Your not far away from me Hannah. I'm in ilkeston x

Not sure whether you're still looking but the H4llM4rk H0t3l (next to Derby train station) has a good package on their website. Have stayed as a normal hotel guest and it was lovely - beautiful building, professional staff and great food and drink. Might be one to look at? Nice and central too. Just make sure to select the "Derby Midland" one, not the "Inn", if you look on the website.
