Never too early I think as long as you have informed important people first of the engagement. I never had one as wanted to save as much money as possible towards our wedding.

That's my wedding day! We saved our money for the actual wedding and never bothered and people congratulated us anyway so we didn't bother or see the point of it! Congrats and have fun at your party though, sounds like you'll have great fun :) x

We never had an engagement party either, just lots of congratulations and meals/drinks out with various groups of family and friends. We saved money on an engagement party to put towards the wedding instead.

We had an engagement party but it was more of a shindig in the back garden with lots of music and food and alkihole.

Hi and congrats, we got engaged in October last year, our party was 3 months later due to another engagement party in the nov, wedding in the December then xmas and new year so we waited till the end of January and worked out perfect for us but defo agree its never too soon! xx
