1st the bridesmaids dresses came in yesterday i got a phone call to say 1 was damaged so both have to go bk and theres a 6 week turn around on rush orderd so plenty time... nope 1 of my bridesmaids is an assistant head teacher the other side of durham she never gets home till 5.30-6pm so we had booked in whitweek as her first fitting (alot earlier than theyd nomaly do it by needs must) now unless they can super rush it it wont be here in time abd the seamstress for alterations fittings etc only works tues n thurs 10-4.30 - great :-(
Now for littleones my sil decided LAST YEAR to buy them some dresses which i hated so went bk and we had to pick more cos it was credit only.. we got them i loved them so cute but come to trying them on my daughters is huge which isnt a problem we know a seamstress who can take it in or tack it here n there so she can wear it again 1 day as its more of a summer dress
My neices however only just fits and it sits all wrong its also too short everything about it im not liking :-( seamstress said she can sort it but shes gunna grow and its just guna get tighter sil assured me she got a size big enuff to be took in but clearly not now coming to see it.
Im hoping seamstress can do something or im going to have to go find more dresses-ive looked i cant find anything i like! Or can really afford now as ive only budgeted alterations not 2 new dresses!. And bridal shop wise for proper dresses ive already been told im running out of time to order again cnt rly afford :-(

Oh no, so sorry to hear this..... I know I shouldn't say this but can she not throw a sicky or anything at work just so she can get to the shop??
For the little ones, is there nothing on the bay of E or in N3xt or somewhere you could potentially get it cheaper or easier?!

Not sure what your budget is on little ones but if you need to try where I got mine... They weren't too expensive (£39 for ours) and they arrived within a week x Link on your wall.

Have you looked on Amazon if you need new dresses for the little ones? I got my ones off of there for £13 each but they were lovely and looked much more expensive than they were! Xx

ya,,, maybe you can try to visit ************************* for your problem, there are many cute dresses for little girls. My friend's daughter used it in my sister wedding. that's very cute! It's cheap, but has good quality. Good luck! :D

Got some dresses on bayE but the shop also has a website they are in essex. Cant wait for them to come i out a photo in my album. Going to add peach coloured tulle underneath :-)
For adults i found a solution. We know a gery good dress maker who said she can easy do the alterations for half the price the bridal shop was going to charge
she could of done my dress also but my underskirt is going to be in hire (brand new bt on hire) so they wont allow me to take that away with me - the 1st 1 i picked was £45 to buy but then i changed and was amywhere from 100-150 to buy but 45 to hire. They have a brand new 1 already bagged up and made to my size so i definatly know its brand new but they wont allow me to take it till i pick my dress up so ill be oaying for my dress alts by bridal shop. But not to worry im aaving at the least of £50 on bridesmaida alterations!

Hi ladies im so happy with the dresses!! Gamble worth taking ive uploaded a picture of my daughter in her dres
We had to order larger sizes so the length was ok but seamstress has said thats better for her as gives more play and able to make them both look the same
If any1 would like to know where i got them send me a message :-) the shop is on ebay and a website they are based in essex. Id highly recomend in so happy with these!! :-D

Katie it doesnt look like taking off the bow and replacing it would work too well.. it seems to be attatched to the outter layer of tulle (so i guess u could replace that or put it back on...) not 100% sure tho i would like to say. sorry x
U could always add a splash of colour elsewhere like we are thinking of doing :-)

Thanks hun. We could maybe have our colour in the form of an alice band in their hair and also in the flowers. Will see. They are fab prices though and our BMs will be in a full colour dress so the 2 LOs will look nice in just Ivory with colour accessories :) xx

Yea i think it would look lovely to keep them simple but add bits of colour my little ones have wrist corsages with the colour and hair clips :-) our colour is peach.. for the weddin. Reception is rainbow colours all tables r a dif colour lol

Well my daughter will only be 20 mnths so makes life easier her not having to carry anything lol she wud only drop it half way up the isle or throw it at someone haha xx
