So I have this friend, and for various reasons we usually have a very shaky relationship. We just recently started talking after about a year and she's already asked for an invite. Thing is, since we've started talking I've discovered that nothing has really changed from our last fallout, and sometimes it's hard even talking to her properly, but I have a really bad guilt complex and will probably feel bad for ages if I don't invite her.

I wouldn't invite her or if I did just to the evening.

I wouldn't invite her to the day.. maybe you can just invite her to the evening. It's a bit cheeky of her to ask for an invite as soon you start talking again.. it's not her decision, it's yours. Don't let her pressure you into inviting her if you don't want to x

Yeah I would either not invite her or only invite her to the day, how cheeky of her to ask for an invite already, I would just wait to be asked x

At the moment I think I'm leaning towards not inviting her. Not logged ago she was complaining about nobody she knows getting married so I think she only wants an invite just so she can actually go to a wedding
Just don't feel guilty about not inviting her. She's the one who has given you a reason for doubting whether to invite her or not... her own fault. x

I'll try not to feel guilty. Might be tough though, when I was pregnant with my first son I forgot to turn the grill on for fish fingers, then felt guilty for about a day for leaving them cold and unattended lol
