I started looking 2 years before and about 20 month to it found my dress, and got them to order it in jan, its now in going to try in a couple weeks and my wedding is not till july 2015, but i would prefer it be here than be with couple months to go wondering if it will get here in time and having to stress and rush to fit in fittings.
Met June 2009 on my Birthday,Met again July 2009 and got
together, May 2010 Moved in,Jan 2011 got pregnant,
August 2011 Got our own place, 2011 Had our Baby Girl,
Dec 2011 Got engaged, July 2015 Getting married! Yay!

I would not browse as you end up getting something into your head without knowing wether it will suit you, i got into my head i wanted lacey etc but when i went to try they looked horrific on me. go to the shop with and open mind and try on everything they suggest even if its just to rule it out.
